Hi There!

 

Can you help me identify a HOTWIRE hotel?  Here are the details...

5 star

Chiang Mai area, Chiang Mai, Thailand

dates 4/19 to 4/21/2017

price is $84 (marked down from $196)

Tripadvisor rating is 4.5 with 1500-2000 reviews

Hotwire indicates that the last person got the Anuntara Chiang Mai Resort and Spa.  However, this hotel has more than 2,100 reviews.  How could that be?

The "Last person got __" information shown by HOTWIRE is relative to the last person who bought a hotel of this star rating in the zone, not necessarily the underlying hotel currently being offered.

 

For the offer above I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates:

Ah, ok.  Bummer!  I agree that it looks to match the Shangri-La except for one thing... it says it is marked down from $196, but the rate I'm finding for those nights on other sites is only $112.  What do you think about that?

 

There is another option that I'm seeing.  What do you think this is?

First of all, this option doesn't show up with the biddinghelper tool, but it does show up when I use your HOTWIRE links.
