fredd75 Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 Sorry folks, I only read about the savingsbarn link now - I'll definitely use it next time.Seeing the other postings for $60 4* Toronto, I started my bid at $59 and was rejected. They came back with a counter offer of $76 ("increase your bid by $17"). I then added the Scarborough zone and figured I'd try $63 (i figured I might have to go as high as $67, so I wanted to keep that for the Toronto East zone.$63 Accepted. Harbour Castle Westin. (I was expecting Sheraton Centre, but excellent replacement!)Awesome considering the best online rate is $182CDN taxes in for the Westin Harbour Castle for that night. Thanks betterbidding!!!! (note, I'm sure $60-62 might work as well. start at $60.)

byeloe Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 Hi Just for future referencethere are at least 8 free rebids for 4* downtown Toronto if you use the simple method and well over 100(more than you would ever need) using the exponential method, so you could have increased your bid $1 at a time if you wanted to find the bottom line bid
