Alex12107
Hello, I'm Alex and I'm from Austria. All I'm searching for is a room with a private bathroom in a secure area in San Francisco from July 6th-9th. Which bid, in which zone is realistic at this dates? Link to comment

Alex12107
Thank you for the answer! Do have any 2 star hotels on priceline private rooms with an own bathroom? Then at least a 2 star would be ok. It shouldn't be more expensive than 140$. Link to comment
thereuare
All PRICELINE / HOTWIRE rooms will be for a private bathroom unless otherwise indicated. Thoughts on any of the following offers/guesses working well for your needs (confirm your dates on the landing page of any provided links): 3* Union Square West for $120 Restaurant Free Internet ==> King George Hotel 2.5* Union Square West for $128 Business Center Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Hotel Metropolis 3* South of Market - Moscone Center for $134 Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> The Pickwick Hotel San Francisco 4* Financial District - Embarcadero for $139 Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Club Quarters Hotel in San Francisco If you're not familiar with San Francisco, generally speaking: Union Square West is considered to be 'safe', but has a somewhat large homeless population that will panhandle (ask for spare change). I'm not aware of any safety concerns in this regard, but for those that aren't used to cities with homelessness issues, it can make them feel uneasy. Financial District is not in the heart of things from a tourist perspective but with San Francisco having a good mass transit system, it's easy to get to where you need to go, and this area represents good value (as can be seen from the 4* offer here for not much more than the 2.5* offers in other zones) You could of course try PRICELINE bidding for a lower amount, but you may or may not get the same hotels that are guessed above, and sometimes at the lower star ratings you may want to know more about the hotel you're receiving to ensure it's one of the better ones within that star rating (ie- as indicated by the user review rating, amenities offered, etc) priceline.HOTWIRE (or the links above) If you take one of the offers above let us know how it goes OR let us know how you would otherwise like to proceed and we will advise accordingly.
