Because Hotwire is not common in Australia as it is the US, is the hotel more likely to be an international chain familiar with Hotwire?  Or could it just be any garden variety 3* hotel?

 

Holiday Inn Express?

 

Help would be much appreciated because Perth WA is expensive and I'm staying 7 nights to see Bruce Springsteen :)

3/5 on tripadvisor is a pretty mixed rating, so I'd be hesitant to go for that. I'll guess that that listing is possibly the City Waters Perth.

Thank you very much Aaron for your help.  I took your advice and went for the PRICELINE EXPRESS hotel and you were spot on!  I got the Comfort Inn/Suites Goodearth and am very happy at that price!!  That is less than what I would have paid for a crummy Backpackers with shared bathroom (yuk).
