hink10 Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 I am looking at 4 star hotel in Chicago on Hotwire for Feb 22nd-27th 2017 in the Riverwalk-North Loop area. I found one listed for $86, 95% recommended (top hotel). It shows the last person got The Wit. That's very close to where I want to be. The amenities are listed as Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Golf nearby, Internet access, Pet friendly, Restaurant(s), Spa services. Think It's The Wit? Thanks!
thereuare Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 Note that the "Last person got ___" information is relative to the last person who bought a hotel of this star rating in the zone and not necessarily in relation to the underlying hotel currently being offered. For the offer above I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. (always use this method for your searches/purchases) If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: 4* Riverwalk - North Loop for $87.00 Pet Friendly Boutique Fitness Restaurant Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Bathroom Accessible Roll-in Shower ==> if this is what you're seeing the Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront would be my best guess (i don't believe theWit is Pet Friendly, which the amenities indicate the underlying hotel does allow pets) Does the guessed Wyndham Grand work for your needs? If not, where is it exactly that you want to be near, and what is your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes) for this trip? AaronJB Posted December 21, 2016 Report Posted December 21, 2016 The Wyndham is a well-reviewed property in a great location by the Wacker/Michigan intersection. It's 0.2mi from the Wit, so there's going to be few hotels closer than that. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
