I have booked new york for a family ever.  If there is any advice on hotels for 4 people (preferably with indoor pool) i'd love to hear any advice you might have

I would consider additional areas as long as centrally loccated.

There are very few NYC hotels with indoor pools (the real estate is so expensive that it becomes cost prohibitive to allocate the space needed).

 

Are you including 2adults/2children in your search as i'm seeing prices quite a bit higher than either of the two you listed above when searching for your dates, 1room/2adults/2children.  Are you still seeing either of the offers above?

 

I'm very familiar with NYC, what is your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes) for this trip?

 

If you need airfare have you already looked into or purchase airfare? (since prices are typically higher this close to departure)

would be a good start to see what those times square ones are

plans aren't firm yet but with a desirable enough hotel option we will be ready to book

 

any recommendations you might have given your new york expertise?

children are 6 and 10.

 

this is a random last minute idea but very excited about the potential.

open to suggestions on areas and hotel

 

given there are 4 of us would prefer to have a decent enough sized room and am open to various areas but likely the ones we discussed above

==> Affinia Dumont or Affinia Shelburne... both of which get excellent reviews and rooms typically are a bit larger than average, of the two i think the Shelburne is slightly more likely

ended up getting an acceptable rate on a suite that was desirable given 4 of us in a room so closing the door on new york

will refocus now to march and the st petes/clearwater options
