Priceline Hotel: Chicago Midway Dec 14 & 15

Needing to book a room around Chicago Midway airport next week. Did not see a lot of recent wins so want to be around $79 night 

 

Any ideas?

Are you going downtown or do you need to be around Midway? If you are going downtown and want to stay downtown, then downtown is actually very inexpensive in comparison to usual for these dates - you could get a 4.5* within your budget. Or if you are only going to be around Midway, we can offer suggestions in that area.

Need to stay around Midway mainly. Would prefer to not stay downtown. Suggestions for Midway? I was looking at NYOP on Priceline but not sure if the list here is still accurate

The list provides what has been reported to the board previously and there are not too many wins reported at Midway.

Actually it looks like I don't have to be right at Midway...though I would prefer to avoid Downtown

As you know your needs better than we do, and to avoid any confusion and help us narrow the search, which zones (by PRICELINE / HOTWIRE name) are acceptable?

 

What your plans while in Chicago that you want to be near Midway? (or is it just for easy arrival/departure)

The issue with Chicago is that once you leave Midway, the only option really is downtown, as there's nothing really between there and downtown. If you start going into the South suburbs, there's really no benefit. The Marriott mentioned above is close to the airport and offers a shuttle.
