bostonconor Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 I usually travel to NYC off season weekends and stay in Midtown and GC, and TS, I am very impressed with the quality of the 4 star hotels and the prices. .I usually get a room for $150 a night at a 4 star.. Is it worth looking at the 3 stars hotels for a weekend off season traveler if I just need a clean safe bed to crash. Would I save much money.
thereuare Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 Rates are date specific so it's difficult to answer in a general sense as you have posted above... it could potentially be worthwhile, but impossible to say without checking specific dates that you have in mind for your needs trip. If you do want to pursue a 3* (or 3.5*) hotel i would also suggest first starting with PRICELINE EXPRESS or HOTWIRE where you can at least have a guess as to the property being offered, and know some of the user review information about the specific property, as this can help you avoid some of 3* hotels that may have 'lesser' reviews and stick with the 3* hotels that have the better reviews. Let us know once you're planning your next trip (you can simply continue this thread) and we will have a look to see what options you have available. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
