Priceline Hotel: 4 or 5 star hotel in Times Square or Rockefeller

Hello! 

 

I am in the process of trying to bid for a place to stay that is 4 star or more in the Times Square/Rockefeller area of New York City from November 29-December 1st. 

 

I was looking for some help in looking for different bids to place. I tried for $225 in the Times Square and Rockefeller area in NYC but did not win. 

 

Please HELP! I'm surprising my wife by taking her to the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting! :)

Unfortunately, the very end of November/early December is one of the busiest/most expensive times of year in NYC. What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? Are there other acceptable zones aside from RC/TS?

>>> This would be a possible match for the San Carlos. Not far from Rockefeller Center, plus free breakfast, which is pretty rare in NYC, especially at 4*+ properties. Very nice area/location. Otherwise, 4.5*'s in Midtown are $250 or above and most are $300 and above.
