thereuare
Are you including 3rooms on your HOTWIRE search and do any of the rooms require more than double occupancy? Please confirm that you're seeing both of these when including 3rooms and 6adults/0children in your search... we'll have a closer look at each. Is there anything specific that you're looking for in a hotel for this trip? What is your maximum budget (per room per nite before fees/taxes)? AaronJB
I'll also note that I'm seeing a 4.5* in the Downtown-River North area on Priceline Express for $83. (link, please confirm that the correct date/s of travel are showing on the landing page) That would likely be the Godfrey, which is a very nice property, but the other aspect of this listing is that it does offer a bed choice option and one of the options is a King Suite for $104. The only note about the Godfrey is the bar with a retractable roof on the 4th floor, but I don't think that's going to be as much of an issue in December unless you're in a room right by it. The suites there are quite nice, with a decent sized sitting/living room area, as well as a sizable bathroom/bedroom. The Godfrey is also an easy walk from a lot of restaurants and nightlife in River North. I'm very familiar with Chicago - let us know more about what you are looking for (location or any other aspects) and we would be happy to research and offer suggestions. Additionally, let me know if you have any city questions. FranklinAlan
Thank you for the responses. I did put 3 rooms w/ 2 people each in the hotwire search. We prefer water tower and mag mile to river north as that goes a little further west than we'd like. I'd be willing to go 5 stars, however would want to get the Langham for that price (not the Trump). Thanks Link to comment
thereuare
I'm currently only seeing this one on a current HOTWIRE search for your dates: 4.5* Magnificent Mile - Water Tower for $150.00 Free Internet Pet Friendly Boutique Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Childrens Activities ==> i don't have any insight into this one, although AaronJB may be able to take a guess However, i am seeing the following, and my best guess for each, that you may want to consider (confirm all dates on the landing pages, and also, even though you prefer the Mag Mile or Water Tower zone to the River North zone, is it worth nearly twice as much given how close all of these zones are to each other??): 4* Magnificent Mile -Gold Coast for $80 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Sheraton Grand would be my best guess for this one 4.5* Downtown - River North for $88 Business Center Restaurant Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> The Godfrey already mentioned above 4* Downtown - River North for $97 Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Hotel Chicago Downtown, Autograph Collection 4.5* Chicago Loop - Grant Park for $119 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet ==> Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago 4.5* Downtown Chicago - Millennium Park for $124 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Kimpton Hotel Monaco Chicago 4.5* Magnificent Mile -Gold Coast for $126 Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile Any of the above work for your needs?
