Hotwire Hotel: 4.5* and 5* in Times Square North and South

Hi there,

 

This is my first time asking for help on this. My wife and i are headed to NYC from 11/15 to 11/19 (4 nights, checking out the 19th) and she has never been, so i want to impress her with the hotel. Knowing the area I would like to stay in Times Square North or South. I found a few using your tool and need some help identifying. i will absolutely book through your link if we decide to go with one of them. i looked at the hotel lists on your site and could not identify any of these using the past bookings, but i see you know NYC well. Our budget is 250-350, but would really like a room at least 250 sf with a king bed.

 

Here are the ones I'm interested in:

 

4.5* Times Square South $228 FULL AMENITIES: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Children's activities

4.5* Times Square North $245 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Internet access, Kitchenette

5* Times Square North $272 FULL AMENITIES: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Business center, Internet access, Children's activities

5* Times Square South $330 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Internet access, Children's activities

4.5* Times Square North $320 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Internet access, Children's activities

 

Thanks for any help and i love what you do. I have stayed at the Moderne and, Novotel before so am open to those but don't think either are these star levels. Any guesses on the above?

 

Also, does it show before i book if there is a resort fee, and if that fee is per person or per room?

Assuming this isn't the first time you'll be purchasing on PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, it would be appreciated if you started to share your wins with the board so that others can benefit from the information, just as you are hoping to gain insight from those who have posted before you.

4.5* Times Square South $228

==> maybe The Premier Hotel New York

 

4.5* Times Square North $245

==> Blakely New York

 

5* Times Square North $272

==> WestHouse New York (you can see this one has a Resort Fee listed if you click thru on the offer)

 

5* Times Square South $330

==> not certain, maybe The Knickerbocker Hotel... but if interested in this property see below

 

4.5* Times Square North $320

==> mabye The Michelangelo Hotel or The London NYC, but not sure

 

I'm also seeing this 5* Times Square - Theatre District (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $324/nite with:
Pets Allowed
Restaurant
Fitness Center
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities

==> best guess for this one would be The Knickerbocker Hotel and cheaper than the offer guessed above for the same

Thank you so much for replying. Somehow i never got a notice you replied via email, so never checked until now. So appreciated. I plan to work on this later and see if any of the same offers are still available. I may follow up with a few Q's if new ones appear.

 

Yes i have won on hotwire before, maybe once or twice, and did not post. It was years ago, so my apologies. I will make sure to do so if we go the HW or PL route this time.
