Hotwire Hotel: 4-star Casino Hotel in South Strip

Hi,

 

I'm new to the board, and relatively new to bidding hotels.

 

I found this deal for a 4-star Casino Hotel in South Strip - T-Mobile Arena area on Nov 5-7. Hotwire gave me a rate of $64USD/night, and resort fee of $33USD/night.

 

Free Internet, Free parking, Business center, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Resort, Restaurant(s).

 

The free parking is throwing me for a loop, because that means it's not an MGM resort, correct?

 

80% of guests recommend, and the trip advisor rating is 4/5.

 

Any guesses?

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool.

==> if this is what you're seeing, this matches previous reports for the Tropicana Hotel and Casino so that would be my best guess for this one

Ah, thanks. That makes a lot of sense. I was thinking the same thing myself about the new interface on hotwire. I'm not sure about it, but I'll post back if I book it.

Please follow-up this thread with whatever you decide to do for this trip (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans.

I just booked at the Luxor directly. I found a rate online of $65 USD/night which was the same as the Hotwire rate, but I knew which hotel it was. I would rather try the Luxor than the Tropicana, so it was win-win for me. My rate is cancellable, so if I see a better rate on Hotwire or Priceline I might reconsider.
