aca340 Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 Hi, I'm new to the board, and relatively new to bidding hotels. I found this deal for a 4-star Casino Hotel in South Strip - T-Mobile Arena area on Nov 5-7. Hotwire gave me a rate of $64USD/night, and resort fee of $33USD/night. Free Internet, Free parking, Business center, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Resort, Restaurant(s). The free parking is throwing me for a loop, because that means it's not an MGM resort, correct? 80% of guests recommend, and the trip advisor rating is 4/5. Any guesses?
thereuare Posted October 6, 2016 Report Posted October 6, 2016 Welcome to BetterBidding! I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 4 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: Resort, Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Spa, Free Parking, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower ==> if this is what you're seeing, this matches previous reports for the Tropicana Hotel and Casino so that would be my best guess for this one Does this work for your needs this trip? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
aca340 Posted October 6, 2016 Author Report Posted October 6, 2016 Ah, thanks. That makes a lot of sense. I was thinking the same thing myself about the new interface on hotwire. I'm not sure about it, but I'll post back if I book it.

aca340 Posted October 7, 2016 Author Report Posted October 7, 2016 I just booked at the Luxor directly. I found a rate online of $65 USD/night which was the same as the Hotwire rate, but I knew which hotel it was. I would rather try the Luxor than the Tropicana, so it was win-win for me. My rate is cancellable, so if I see a better rate on Hotwire or Priceline I might reconsider.
