Hotwire Hotel: 5* Magnificent Mile - Water Tower Area 10/9-10/12/16

hi First time poster,

 

Looking to go to chicago this week 10/9-10/12 and wanted to do a 5* property. Only available one is the Magnificent Mile / Water Tower

Free Internet

 

Amenities

Business center

Fitness center

Indoor pool(s)Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Smoke-free rooms

Spa services

 

Any ideas? Hotwire says the last hotel that someone got was The Langham. I just want to make sure that i don't get stuck with the Ritz....

 

Any help would be great.

Looks like i do see the amenities as follows for 10/9-10/12 for 5* Mag Mile - Water Tower.

 

FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, Children's activities

 

The tripadvisor rating seems to have dropped to 90% instead of 95%.

 

Do you think we still have the same hotels listed above?

The HOTWIRE customer % rating has been seen to change from search-to-search at times and is not a reliable indicator (as there is no way to check it against something, as you can with Tripadvisor ratings, which are often shown separately on the detail page of the listing.)

 

I'll agree that the listing could be a few different possibilities, although all of them certainly appealing.

 

I'll also note that there's a 4.5 in the Mag Mile-Gold Coast area on Priceline Express (please confirm that the correct date/s of travel are showing on the landing page when you click on the link) for $102 w/Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Free Internet, Business Center, Fitness Center, No Smoking Rooms/Facilities. That listing has a 9+ rating and while not a 5 star property, that's an awfully reasonable rate for these dates for a well-reviewed 4.5*.

==> my guess would be the Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile

 

For the HOTWIRE hotel i'd stick with my original 3 guesses (and their likelihood).. but would this be worth nearly triple the price of the 4.5* PRICELINE EXPRESS property?
