Canes98 Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 I just booked 2 round trip tickets for June travel from MIA-LON for $488 each on Virgin Atlantic. This price was inclusive of the high taxes charged on tickets to and from the UK. The fares can only be found thru Travelocity"]Travelocity. I couldn't find it on Virgin's own website. The source I got this tip from indicated even lower fares are available from JFK, EWR, DC, Boston, LA, and San Francisco to London. Such a low fare during peak travel season is unfathomable. From MIA there was pretty good availability in June and July. The base fare for my deal was $270 RT. I didn't check other cities or dates. Use the flexible dates feature on Travelocity"]Travelocity to find what dates are available.
Canes98 Posted February 14, 2006 Author Report Posted February 14, 2006 Airfare has now been pulled. Lasted about 48 hours from what I can tell. I got the tip from airfarewatchdog.com. Lowest fare now is over $950 per ticket for these cities on these dates.
