Priceline Hotel: 3-4 Star Hotel NYC

Hello, 

 

We are traveling to NYC Nov 4th thru 6th and would like to stay at a 3/ 3,5 or 4 Star hotel in one of these districts:

 

Times Square, Midtown East, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square Garden, Midtown West – Hell’s Kitchen, Central Park South, Chelsea Area, SoHo – Tribeca.

 

What is the lowest/max. price we should bid per night? Thank you, I really appreciate your help!

Few questions to get started...

Have you ever been to NYC before, as the MTW-HK zone can go pretty far west, and some of the hotels there are not the most convenient for the average visitor.  Also, note that in the CPS zone at the 4* level is the Hudson Hotel, which while well located, has notoriously small rooms (even by NYC standards)... would this be an acceptable outcome?

 

Also, are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3.5* vs.a  3* OR is the goal the least expensive 3* or better for this trip?  What is your expected budget? (per nite before taxes/fees)
