PierreC
that was a weird bidding session. My fist bid for a 4* was 75 dollars. Priceline counter-offer me at 116 dollars. I turned it down. The next i tried 5 bucks extra, now up at 80, still got tha counter-offer at 116 dollars. Turned it down again. Then yesterday i made a mistake. I bid 100 dollars expecting to bid for 4*, forgetting that i had already mark my bid at 3*. To my all time surprise the 100 dollars bid for 3* stars in Detroit was also turned down ! Then today i add one dollar to my 4* bid, now at 101 dollars got accepted ! Strange..they turned down 100 dollars for a 3* yesterday but got accepted today for a 4* for just one dollar extra. I think its a good deal. Link to comment
AaronJB
Congrats on your success. Good deal for this property and hope you are looking forward to your stay. Hotels do not take consideration of other star ratings into pricing. It is not unusual for a 3* to be more expensive than a 4*. Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches. Enjoy your stay. Link to comment
