Priceline Hotel: 4*+ Hotel near Rockefeller Plaza 10/13 - 10/15 $246?

HI!  Coming into NYC for work (need that area) which will hopefully turn into play.  Want something NICE to keep the GF happy.  Found the following (Sofitel?); should I get it through Priceline express, or bid for better deal?

This 4.5* Rockefeller Center hotel (confirm your dates on the landing page) would be a likely match for the Omni Berkshire.

 

If you bid, you have to be willing to accept any potential property at the star rating picked in the zone chosen. PRICELINE EXPRESS is usually slightly/moderately more, but if you are looking for something special for the occasion, you may want to look at PRICELINE EXPRESS or HOTWIRE instead. Would the potential Omni work? If not, are you looking for a particular style or other factor?

tried bidding for 4.5* Rockefeller Center - Bryant Park and bid up to $230 w/o getting my bid accepted:(  I have to decide whether to try again tomorrow or accept the one on PRICELINE EXPRESS...

Are there any other areas next door to this one that would be acceptable? Additionally, I'm seeing the Rockefeller-Bryant Park 4.5* mentioned above now for $245. It was closer to $260 last night.  At this point, I'd try $235, then $240 and if that isn't taken, just go with the PRICELINE EXPRESS listing.
