Priceline Hotel: looking for 3.5-4* hotel in nyc for 9/21-9/24

looking for some help on locating a 3.5-4* hotel in nyc for the dates of 9/21-9/24. i'm pretty flexible on locations (times sq, wall st, lower east, or midtown east). looking to spend ~$150/night. any help would be appreciated

Unfortunately, these dates are definitely on the busy/expensive side. In these zones, for a 3.5-4*, you are likely looking at over $200 and - depending on zone - possibly $220-225+.

Unfortunately, I still think you're looking at $200+. The cheapest HOTWIRE option in Manhattan that I'm seeing is a 2.5* for $192. If there isn't availability in your desired budget range, what would be your preferred alternative? Would you consider raising your budget (which is a bummer, but unfortunately Fall in NYC is often expensive) or would you want to look at staying outside the city?
