I'm looking for a hotel in Tysons Corner / Falls Church area for 1 night (9/14 - 9/15). Just wondering what rate should I start my bid at on PRICELINE?

Are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3.5* OR is the goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this nite?

Thank you for the prompt response. I would prefer least expensive (doesn't matter if it's 3.5* or 4*). The maximum I'd be willing to do is 65-75. I always find better deals in Dulles, but this one night I have to be in Tysons for work.

I'm not sure if $75is going to be realistic for this nite on this date, but to give it a try...

Just to follow up, I didn't have a luck bidding with my price range. I was in the area for 6 hours only, so I just booked Extended Stay America Fair Oaks in Fairfax. I paid $65 for that property.

Was this a PRICELINE (bid), PRICELINE EXPRESS, HOTWIRE, or regular rate purchase?

 

If PRICELINE EXPRESS or HOTWIRE can you confirm the amenities that were associated with the hotel and shown before your purchase?

It was booked through PRICELINE EXPRESS. It showed up as a 3* property but it was okay. I'd give it 2*. Unfortunately, I don't have the list of amenities that were listed there.
