timetraveler Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 I'm planning a trip that will put us in Las Vegas 9/6 - 9/9. It might be too early to bid for a hotel, but it's time to buy plane tickets, so I have a decision to make now.I'd expected to buy a Las Vegas 4* or 5* hotel on Priceline, but after reading some posts here, I have a concern: Might my bid be rejected or might I be forced to bid too much because many hotels' prices for Friday night are much higher than Wednesday and Thursday? Would I then have to split my bid and possibly end up in two different hotels? If I want to use Priceline, would it be best for me to rearrange our trip so that we only need a hotel on week nights?Any other suggestions?
thereuare Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Unless there is a major convention in town, midweek nites will almost always be much cheaper than weekend nites. If budget is a concern, make your plans for midweek dates and at at time when there are few conventioneers in town. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
