MisaRoo Posted September 3, 2016 Report Posted September 3, 2016 Four 30 year olds traveling to Vegas Black Friday thru the following Monday or Tuesday. I have found some decent prices with Mandalay Bay at $108 per night or PH at 128, but I wanted to know if I did the name your price, or they even have that express deal for the 4* north end of the strip for $74 a night. Was looking for insight at what the express hotel might be or if I were to name my price for a 4 star or 4 1/2star hotel on the south or north of the strip what they might be. I am hoping to keep the hotel under $130 per night, but would like to get under $100 if possible (since all the taxes and fees would put it over $140). Pool is a must, would prefer a casino as well.
thereuare Posted September 4, 2016 Report Posted September 4, 2016 Welcome to BetterBidding! The issue you're going to have is that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed (and in Vegas most of the hotels are now beginning to charge more for anything over double occupancy). While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. If this is not a risk you're willing to accept, HOTWIRE would still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc)... or PRICELINE EXPRESS if the hotel offered shows a 'Bed Choice' and one of those options is a room with two beds. Does the PRICELINE EXPRESS hotel you're seeing above show a Bed Choice option and/or are you willing to accept the risk of only receiving one bed? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
