soledad Posted August 19, 2016 Report Posted August 19, 2016 I want a 4* star hotel in Miami We´re a party of 10 adults and 2 children 3 Room / 3 nights Travel dates Sept 18 to Sept 21 I always use PRICELINE, but I´ve changed to Hotwire because it could acommodate us better than priceline. Is that correct? I selected HOTWIRE link from this page and Hotwire shows 3 alternatives: 5-star Boutique Hotel in Downtown - Port of Miami area - $133 per night 95% recommended Amazing! Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access Bed choice available 3.5-star Hotel in Miami Intl Airport (MIA) area $69 per night 80% recommended Good Free parking, Free Internet, Airport shuttle, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry Bed choice available Thank you! Soledad
thereuare Posted August 19, 2016 Report Posted August 19, 2016 I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to these listings, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for each: 5* Downtown $133/nite: Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower ==> matches previous reports for the Epic Hotel and that would be my best guess for this one 3.5* Miami Airport $69/nite Free parking, Free Internet, Airport shuttle, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking ==> Regency Hotel Miami would be my top guess for this one, with a less likely, but still possible, secondary guess of the Crowne Plaza Miami International Airport Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

thereuare Posted August 26, 2016 Report Posted August 26, 2016 My guess for the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer would be the Tradewinds, but as no Bed Choice is listed as an option, how do you ensure the quad occupancy you need for each room, or is this a risk you're willing to take? I'm not as certain of the HOTWIRE offer, but if the Tradewinds (or you're not willing to take the occupancy risk), it can be booked cheaper HERE (confirm your dates and occupancy requirements on the landing page) for $78/nite and you'll know exactly what you're getting. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes... or let us know more about what it is that you're looking for in a hotel for this trip.
