ewendt99 Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 Hi there, I am just looking for some input. I am looking for a hotel with the following criteria: Nov 4-6 2 people Budget: $200 USD/night Areas (not picky) Time Square Rockefeller center MSG mid town east central park sth I did come across a deal on HOTWIRE that fits the criteria, but can't seem to narrow it down to what it might be: 4-star New To Hotwire Hotel in Rockefeller Centre area - 85% 1 Room, 2 Adults, 0 Children Fri, Nov 04 - Sun, Nov 06 Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Spa services I'm also curious about resort fees, are they usually noted or come as a surprise after booking? Any help with that is appreciated along with other suggestions. Thanks!
AaronJB Posted August 16, 2016 Report Posted August 16, 2016 Welcome to Betterbidding. I think there may be more amenities than you have included above. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper tool and look in the EASY VIEW TAB, do you see additional amenities beyond those listed above? If so, please confirm the full amenity set and we would be happy to take a look. For the HOTWIRE listing, if you see: Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa, Pet Friendly I'd guess this is the W New York. Would this potential property be of interest, or would you be interested in bidding? If you bid, if a hotel with resort fees is possible, you will see a fee during bidding. For PRICELINE EXPRESS and HOTWIRE, if there is a fee, it will be listed on the detail page/during check-out. Resort fees in NYC are still relatively rare, but are starting to be seen at an increasing amount of hotels. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
ewendt99 Posted August 16, 2016 Author Report Posted August 16, 2016 Thanks AaronJB! I went ahead with the link you provided for the 4* and you were right, the W New York @ $465 USD, which I'm happy about :) Thanks for the input!
thereuare Posted August 16, 2016 Report Posted August 16, 2016 Congratulations on your success! Nice to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and that you're pleased with the results. You're also near my often recommended Ess-A-Bagel (Third Ave at 51st St) which has one of the best bagels in the city, makes for a nice, and relatively inexpensive, breakfast among local NYers. Thank you for sharing your win with the board. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
