Looking to bid for a hotel near times square between October 29th to November 2nd, willing to pay up to 200$ tax included, should I wait until it gets sooner to the date?

4* please,,,,,,,,,,

Welcome to Betterbidding.

$200 with tax included may be a little difficult for Times Square for these dates, but it's likely not  far off. Please confirm which zones would be acceptable.  If your dates are confirmed, I'd start bidding now, as the Fall and early Winter are traditionally busy/expensive in NYC.

Anywhere in Midtown(east or west), times square is where we are interested in staying.

And how about yotel?

is yotel 3*?  or  3.5*?

So Yotel was not on priceline, but I have read online that it can be booked. Even if 4 stars+ might be unavailable we were interested in the yotel.

As per the following link, the Yotel Times Square is currently 4 star rated by PRICELINE.

However, with PRICELINE / HOTWIRE you can't choose the hotel you will necessarily receive.  With PRICELINE EXPRESS and HOTWIRE you can usually (with our help) take a guess as to the hotel currently being offered, and i'm currently seeing what appears to be the Yotel offered at $221/nite... is this worth it to you at this price?

You may get a better price by bidding on PRICELINE, but you then need to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you choose, and won't be able to target a specific hotel or take a guess as to which one you may receive.

Above you indicated you were looking for a 4* hotel... is a 3* now acceptable?

Is this the 3* Times Square - Theatre District hotel (confirm your dates on the landing page) you're seeing for $174/nite with only a Fitness Center amenity listed?  If so, this would likely be the Hotel Edison, but the Paramount Hotel would be a possibility as well.

Bidding on PRICELINE is usually the least expensive way to book, but you also know less about the hotel (no reviews, amenities, etc. and no way to target, or avoid, a specific hotel)... are you looking to target The Edison or are you willing to accept any 3* hotel (or higher) in the zone(s) that you bid?

I'm very familiar with NYC... what is it exactly that you're hoping for in a hotel for this trip?

I want 4* but 3.5* or 3* is Ok.
I was wondering about the PRICELINE EXPRESS on 4.5 stars 217$ New York Marriott Marquis hotel available from 10/29-11/02. Now would it be a better deal to take the express deal or bid this out on PRICELINE as well. thank you.

Are you seeing the Marriott Marquis revealed in the PRICELINE EXPRESS section?

Bidding is different from PRICELINE EXPRESS, so if you bid there's a considerable chance you'll wind up with something else. Are you okay with potentially any hotel in the zone at that star rating, or something higher (as a bid can be upgraded to a higher star rating)?

So I found this 4.5 star express deal hotel for 217/per night from 10/29-11/2. The guest rating overall was an 8 but no other information. As for similarities in the amenities Mariott marquis and the premier hotel times square are options, although I believe it is the new York Marriott marquis. What do you think it is? Thank you.

When requesting PRICELINE EXPRESS and/or HOTWIRE hotel research please include the amenities associated with the property so that we know what it is that we are looking for.

Is this the 4.5* Time Square hotel (confirm the dates on the landing page) that you're seeing for $217/nite with:

Business Center

Restaurant

Free Internet

Fitness Center

No Smoking Rooms/Facilities

==> if so, best guess for this one would be The Premier Hotel Times Square
