Priceline Hotel: 4* Pittsburgh (Downtown) Omni William Penn Hotel

I was expecting to get the Westin as listed on Betterbidding, but got the William Penn instead. Unpleasant surprise.

Sorry to see you received a hotel you didn't expect, but from the Priceline Express Hotel List the amenities believed to be associated with the Westin are:

Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Free Internet, Business Center, Fitness Center

 

Did the offer you purchased have the amenities above?  A current PRICELINE EXPRESS search shows a 4* hotel in this zone for $80, which assuming it's the one you purchased, has:

Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Business Center, Fitness Center, No Smoking Rooms/Facilities

... which is different than the amenity set above, which would have been the first clue that this was likely a different property

 

Not sure of your plans for this trip, but i wouldn't be too disappointed as the Omni is one of the top rated hotels in the city (and gets better reviews than the Westin)... hopefully you'll be able to make it work for your needs.

 

In the future feel free to ask the board for help/confirmation of what you think you're about to purchase as we can help minimize the chance of any unexpected surprises.
