Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Naples-Fort Myers (Marco Island) Radisson Beach Resort

Just booked a trip to Florida for three weeks from Friday :)

Used the savingsbarn site to launch to Hotwire. Elected not to try PL because am traveling with 2 kids in same room. Bounced around all the nearby dates for six and seven night stays on the HW "packages" search (air Detroit to Fort Myer, plus hotel/car) before settling on which 5-7 day stretch to travel. But with the added cost to select specific flight times (maximize beach time and work with kids schedules) I found it at least 50$ cheaper to book the air+car on one screen, and the hotel on another, than had I booked the package (plus I think I had more flight options).

Anyway, amenities listed for the 3.5* are:

The hotel itself is the Radisson Suite Beach Resort, which was no surprise since in the package prices the hotel was identified! - and this site led me to believe it the only 3.5 I was going to see on Marco Island.

My flight info is DTW-ATL-RSW round trip for $1364 grand total ($335 + $6 fee times four) plus seven days Budget mid-size car rental @ 16.95 per day (118.65 + 50.73 taxes).

I do hope betterbidding gets a perk from savings barn on my purchase. This is the second trip I've planned with heavy consultation here (not so obsessive as last year's Chicago trip, but equally beneficial!). Thanks to the many active members.
