Priceline Hotel: LAS VEGAS 2/26-3/2

Hi, I just got an opportunity to fly to Vegas and need a hotel room. My dates are flexible, but I'd like to go around Feb 26-March 2 (a 4 night stay). I'm afraid to bid on 4*hotels as I've heard you can get stuck at the Westin. You list it at 3* now, but I'm not sure if it has stayed 3*.

Can you tell me a good bidding stratergy? I'm willing to stay at 4* or 5* hotels.

The following are the rates hotels are offering during my stay (direct from hotel websites):

Venetian 299

Bellagio 199

MGM 149

Mirage 199

NY NY 115

TI 129 for three nights, 89 for 4th night

Aladdin 179 for 1st two nights, 89 for 3rd night, 109 for 4th night

Luxor 99

Paris 139 for 1st night, 129 for 2nd and 3rd night, 99 for 4th night

Monte Carlo 99

I looked into Hotwire as well and think I pinned the 4* hotel listed as the Paris ($407 total for the trip-which I think is excellent). Not sure if I am correct.
