hoozenabunker Posted July 19, 2016 Report Posted July 19, 2016 Put the same bid in two days before and it was rejected (nor did I win subsequent higher bids up to $175), even suggested I bid $50 higher and re-submit. Waited two days and put this in, and won. Might speak to value of waiting until week-of-stay for putting in lower bids.

Glad to see you received a win at prices lower than you had previously bid, but do be aware that we have also seen rates go higher at the last minute as well, so waiting is not always the best option. We usually suggest 'knowing' what a good deal would be (based upon a discount from current conventional rate pricing) and act when the deal represents a 'good' discount.
