AaronJB Posted June 27, 2016 Report Posted June 27, 2016 Welcome to Betterbidding. What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
thereuare Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 My guess is that at current rates $100 will not be enough for a 3.5* or higher rated hotel. (you're more likely looking in the $120-$140 range in this zone.. if your budget is firm you can likely get something around the $100 or less area in the Crystal City or Dupont Circle zone) If you want to give it a try anyway, i would proceed as follows: When bidding 4* in the DC area you have FIFTEEN re-bid zones (at the 3.5* level there are EIGHT re-bid zones). If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. Select 4* White House... Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $88, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $93, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $98, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $100, If rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE, and repeat at the 3.5* level Any questions (especially confirming your re-bid zones with the board if you're unsure) feel free to ask. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Good luck and let us know how it goes. If rejected, let us know your thoughts as to how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
