Thanks to the tips I read on this website this am, I finally got my bid accepted!

4*Resort in Palm Springs, Indian Wells, $125, 2/17-2/20/06

First bid $85 rejected, changed dates for second bid $95 but rejected, changed dates for third bid $115 but rejected. After reading the tips from this website, I retried this am (using different account of a fellow traveler) for fourth bid $115 but rejected and given option to increase bid by $22 to win bid, changed location for fifth bid $120 but rejected, changed location for sixth bid $125 and accepted! Will be using Savingsbarn.com for future priceline bids!

You listed this as 4*Resort in your post... these are two different star ratings according to Priceline. This has previously been reported as a Resort class property, can you confirm that it is still is (according to Priceline) or if it was downgraded to a 4 star?

sorry, it's listed as a resort prop. i kinda combined 4* and resort in my head for the rancho mirage/indian wells/palm desert area, since priceline doesn't have 4-star hotels available for it (they used to, but then combined them some time ago).
