Ok I just replied to the Las Vegas thread.....we didn't end up using hotwire/priceline (wanted to stay at the same place where our friends had already booked).

I will post once we figured out the plans for this Schaumburg trip as well. Thanks for the response!

We changed our area to Oak Brook - Westmont and used HOTWIRE through BiddingHelper.com.com to get Doubletree Oak Brook.  Here are the amenities.  3.5* hotel for $69 per night (Doubletree Oak Brook)
