Hello,

First time posting but been a reader for awhile and appreciate all the information.

Trying to avoid the Trump and I do know if it shows a casino its the only absolute way. The dates are 10/13-10/16.

What price in your opinion should I advise in order to win 5 Star Las Vegas strip North and not the trump?

I used your BiddingHelper.com.com on a Hotwire 5* north property to determine a $101/night offering is indeed the trump which is the cheapest offering...Next strip north 5* offers are $202/night...Alternatively I do see on PRICELINE web that there is a PRICELINE EXPRESS option for $196.

thank you.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

If you're hoping to avoid the Trump then you should not bid on PRICELINE as there is no way to target, or avoid, a specific property when bidding.  In this situation you would need to use PRICELINE EXPRESS or HOTWIRE and choose an offer that shows a Casino amenity.

What is your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes) for this trip?

why people avoid from choosing the trump hotel.

I just answered this for another user a few days ago... see my reply HERE.

If you only want a 5* hotel and it has to be in the Strip North zone, and not be The Trump, at current rates you're likely looking in the $180-$195 area.

If the South Strip zone is acceptable you're more likely looking in the $150-$175 range (less if you're willing to accept a non-Strip hotel such as the Vdara, or something that is at the southern most end of the strip... higher if you wan to target something that has a casino and/or is more centrally located)

... or maybe the Trump is acceptable and you could likely do that for about $100/nite.

The Wynn for $196/nite... or the Venetian or Palazzo (your choice) for $202/nite.

Or in the South Strip zone you could get the Vdara for $157/nite or the (likely) Aria for $175/nite,
