Eric Fletcher Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 We are traveling with our four children to New York checking in August 2nd and checking out August 5th. Typically when we travel we are not in the room much. We do however need two queen beds and enough floor space to let the 2 younger kids use their sleeping bags. We were looking for something nice clean and centrally located for around $300 per night. I found one that looks ok for around 266 on Hotwire. I am just nervous about room size (not that it needs to be too big) and being centrally located to Rockefeller Center and walking distance to a show or the park. We've never been to New York as a family before, just don't want to mess anything up. Four girls would let me know about it. Any ideas? Thank you very much.
thereuare Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you search HOTWIRE (for 2adults/2children which is the most occupancy they will allow you to search for per room) and click thru on the offer... do you see any that on the next page that show 2 Queen beds as an option? (you could do the same for PRICELINE EXPRESS but note that technically you're stretching the rules even further as all PRICELINE reservations are only for double occupancy) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Eric Fletcher Posted June 1, 2016 Author Report Posted June 1, 2016 Thank you. I am ok being centrally located anywhere. I am even ok stretching the rules from 4 to 5, just not 2 to 5. I'll look on BetterBidding and use the HOTWIRE link. Thank you.
thereuare Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 Let us know if you find any of the HOTWIRE offers that show 2 Queen Beds as an option and we'll try to see if we can gain any insight into the offer so that you can further determine possible room size (if there is a standard room size at the property we guess) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Keep us updated on your progress and let us know how we can be of further help along the way.
