Lone_Prodigy Posted May 31, 2016 Report Posted May 31, 2016 Dates 07/16/16 to 07/19/16 (3 nights) Looking at PRICELINE EXPRESS and I'm leaning towards this hotel 4* Downtown - Wall Street Rated 7/10 or higher Restaurant Free Internet Business Center Fitness Center Non-Smoking Bed choices: King, King City View, Standard, Two Double, Two Double City View $137/night, total $513.12. After comparing it to the list on this site, HOTWIRE, and named hotel rates, my best guess is that it's the Holiday Inn Manhattan Financial District (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). So my question is, should I now bid at the same star rating and zone for a lower price? Or is there a risk that I might get another hotel or pay more? Thanks.
AaronJB Posted May 31, 2016 Report Posted May 31, 2016 Welcome to Betterbidding. My guess would also be the Holiday Inn. The issue with bidding is that you very well may get a different hotel. Bidding is generally slightly-to-mildly cheaper, but there is definitely no way to guarantee the same hotel that you may be seeing on PRICELINE EXPRESS. Are you interested in the Holiday Inn? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
