Priceline Hotel: Montreal 4 start Downtown mid June Price range?

Hey folks, we're planning to stay in Montreal around mid June for 5 days in downtown areas (festival, financial or old Montreal). We prefer to staying in a 4 star and above hotel. What will be the ideal price range to start? I tried to start from 85 USD per night, it looks no good.

I just tried USD 90 for the same criteria, not even got a counter offer. Is that too low?

I assume your dates are correct and this is a 4nite/5day stay, and also assume that you are not interested in the 'downtown Latin Quarter' zone (as you didn't include it above in the 3 zones that you did mention you were willing to stay)

 

If correct, at current rates you're likely looking at the $110-$130 range to be successful for a 4* hotel for these dates.. a 3.5* would be in the $90-$110 range.
