Hotwire Hotel: NYC with kids

Hi

I'm traveling with my husband, two kids and a toddler to NYC, Manhatan, Soho and Tribeca area, for three nights, on memorial day weekend: 5/27/16 - 5/30/16

We need two queen beds or a queen plus sofa bed and a pack and play.

We can bring the pack and play from home, but I'm still worried  that is if order through hotwire I might get a room with not enough beds for the 2 older children, since I read some reports of not getting enough beds in the room for the size of the party (4 in this case, if we're not counting the toddler).

Will be glad to hear advice on the matter or suggestions on hotels, especially on how to make sure we get two queen beds.

Also would appreciate advice about parking our car in the area (don't mind not to take it out during the time period).

We don't mind paying up to 300 dollars per night, want a smoke free room and bonuses we'd be happy to have (no must) are free breakfeast, pool and free parking. we're looking for high satisfaction and 4 or 5 star rating.

 

Examples we found include: 307 per night for 5 stars with free internet, smoke free room and fitness center.

HOTWIRE guarantees accommodations for everyone you include in your search, if you have any issues at check-in then give them a call and have them resolve the situation with the hotel.  Alternatively, you can look for a hotel that shows a Bed Choice during check-out and look for a hotel where one of the option is a room with 2 Queen beds, but be forewarned ahead of time that only a few (if any) NYC hotel will likely show this option... and even fewer NYC hotels have pools, so i would cross that one off your list.

 

Are you only looking to stay in the Soho-Tribeca zone or is almost anywhere that is centrally located in Manhattan acceptable?

 

When searching for 2adults/2children for your dates i'm seeing what is likely the Omni Berkshire hotel for $258/nite which is well located and gets very good reviews... would this work for your needs?
