When does a counteroffer occur?

Hi guys, 

 

I'm new to priceline bidding, I sniffed around on google to understand what it's about.

 

My question is, when I'm doing a bidding for a roundtrip flight from Europe to USA, I do not get any counteroffer?

 

(when) will I get a counteroffer? Or am I bidding to low for that?

There is no guarantee that a counter-offer will be presented to you or is there a way to bid to make one appear. They are definitely seen occasionally, but no way to know when.

 

What are the dates and routes you're bidding for, what have you bid so far, and what comparable regular rate prices are you seeing?
