I booked a 4-star hotel in San Francisco (Union square Ease) for 3 nights at the Sir Francis Drake during the Memorial Day weekend with a rate of $127/night (not including taxes and fees). I trust HOTWIRE and have used this site multiple times and love the mystery. The amenities for the Sir Francis Drake are:
