Went through a bidding routine before settling for the Express Deal.

 

The Express Deal was $146 when I searched so I started bidding ... here's what I did:

  1st Bid      97    Downtown 2   4.5 stars  No (pl added 5stars offered at 160)
  2nd Bid     99    Add  4 stars  No
  3rd Bid      99    Add Downtown 1  No
  4th Bid     102  Add NW Portland  (max 3)  No
  5th Bid     104  Add Beaverton (max 3)    No
  6th Bid     105  Add North Harbor - Jantzen (max 3)
  7th Bid     106   Add East Vancouver (max 3)

 

At this point I checked and saw the Express Deal was now $130 for a 4 Star and, though it's $25 more in fees, I decided to grab it.

The Hotel Rose, while not the perfect location -- supposedly pretty noisy if you want a view -- only charges $15 for self-parking, which is incredible cheap for Portland.

Since were were prepared to pay $35-$40 for parking, this works out fine.
