ls1831 Posted April 25, 2016 Report Share Posted April 25, 2016 On 4/25/2016, through BetterBidding link to PRICELINE, for the time-frame 7/16/2016-7/23/2016, I first bid on an intermediate/mid-size SUV for $35/day. This was rejected. $58/day was then recommended. I changed car type to full-size for the same time-frame and bid $38/day. This was rejected. Priceline indicated that I could rent the car for $47/day. I changed car type back to intermediate/mid-size SUV and bid $47/day. This bid was accepted. Rental total: $468.21 with Avis. Best rack rate with Hotwire for this time-frame for intermediate/mid-size SUV was $80.99/day, total of $772. I saved $303.79 for the week! Link to comment
