spydervenom
So I'm finding out that regardless of what price I put in the "Name Your Own Price" page on Priceline, it gives me a hotel but then asks me to pay before I can find out where I will be staying. Does this make sense? Is that normal? Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. When you go through the NYOP process, you're asked to confirm which zone/s and star rating you are interested in as well as the desired bid. You will then get a confirmation screen and are then asked to confirm the information. Once you confirm and finalize the bid, the service will search to see if a hotel will accept. If one does, you are presented with a screen confirming which hotel accepted. If none do you are not charged. Given the discounts offered by the service, the trade-off is that you do not find out which hotel you get until after a hotel accepts your bid. If you need assistance with your purchase, please confirm the desired budget per night/star rating, as well as destination and desired zone. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. thereuare
Or you may not be on the 'bidding' side of PRICELINE's service. Try entering your search here to make sure you're on the bidding page of their service and not the 'regular' rate hotels: BiddingForHotelRooms.com Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
