I'm planning to take a 16-year-old grandson to Italy this summer.

 

I would really appreciate some identification help.  It looks like Hotwire has renamed and probably re-drawn boundaries for Venice.

Sounds like a nice summer trip in the works. 

 

Unfortunately i only have  guess for the #4 property:

#4 Cannaregio 4* $115 90% recommended
--> Hotel Principe

 

For #2 and #3 the amenities are so close that any guess would apply to both.  I did come up with the following as a guess, but there could still be others as well:

Ai Due Fanali
Hotel Al Malcanton
Locanda Poste Vecie
Villa Ada Hotel

 

I don't have any guess for the #1 hotel.

 

I'm also seeing this 3.5* Saint Mark Square - Grand Canal hotel (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $88/nite with:

==> my guess here would be the Hotel Messner

I went with the smoke-free one.
