Triffid Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 This is the hotel being offered for $244 a night for 1 room (2 people) from May 14th to May 21st 2016: Copley Square - Back Bay area boutique hotel, 4.5 star FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower Overall Guest Score 4.5 (95% would recommend) based on 409 reviews 4.5 on Tripadvisor bases on 1001 - 1500 reviews. Now I can find matching hotels on Tripadvisor, but no hotels on either Hotwire or the Hotwire winning hotels list that match the 4.5 guest score based on 409 reviews or anything close to that. Could they be lying or could it just be based on really old information, which I would find rather strange since review information should be based on what it is now...? Any ideas? Thanks.
AaronJB Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Welcome to Betterbidding. The Loews Boston has been seen as a 4.5* w/this amenity set (Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly), so that would be my guess.in this case. You can see the list of hotels reported to the board here: Hotwire Hotel List.Massachusetts There is nothing to compare the HOTWIRE guest score/s against. Please keep us updated with what you decide and let us know if you have additional questions. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
Triffid Posted April 10, 2016 Author Report Posted April 10, 2016 Great, thanks for your quick reply. I see now that the review data comes from Expedia and not HOTWIRE. Will now have to decide to go for either this or a slightly cheaper regular hotel purchase in the same area. Will keep you posted.
