thereuare Posted April 8, 2016 Report Posted April 8, 2016 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the lower right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. To get started... 3 hours ago, bharathb91 said: We are 5 people, so is it safe to assume that we will get a room with 2 queen beds? PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. HOTWIRE does allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc) As well, some PRICELINE EXPRESS hotels show a 'Bed Choice' where one of the choices may be a room with two queens. HOWEVER, specifically in regards to Las Vegas, most of the hotels have started to charge more for rooms with two beds vs. one bed so expecting to receive a room with two beds without paying an additional fee (if the hotel has availability and is willing to allow you to 'upgrade' may not be a reasonable expectation... it could happen, but i don't think it's something that you should expect; nor would i recommend showing up at the front desk with all 5 people (even if booking for quad occupancy or for a room that has two beds) I suspect that most Las Vegas hotels will not allow you to book a 'standard' room for 5 people (when reserving thru 'regular' booking channels) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts as to how you'd like to proceed and we will take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
