Got the City Center Motel Seaside on Hotwire

 

Last minute day of booking and got misled into Hotwire declaring that this hotel was 42% off and decided to book

when I later checked  the same hotel was available on other non-opaque web sites, at about $6 cheaper per night all-in

 

Absolute tiny rooms, flakey unusable internet access, no hair dryer in rooms - would definitely recommend people avoid this hotel!

 

FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Pool(s), Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby

Room options: hotel choose and 1 queen bed at same cost

Additional options of 1 king bed, or 2 double beds at additional cost

 

Have got some great deals from Hotwire in this past, but this definitely wasn't one of them.. Will be cautious to book on hotwire again, and definitely will not rely on the "percentage off" as an indicator of what hotel it might be.
