byeloe
HiYou can get an extra bid in this area by following:1) niagara2) Niagara & St Cath3)Start a new bid nad select Niagara & welland4)Niagara& Sta Cath and WellandIf you can get a rate of $99 Canadian then it will be about the same as your $80 US bid after taxes/fees are added and it is converted to Canadian. It might just be too early for this bid, based on your rates I would have thought that your bid would have been accepted.Hotwire has a 4* for your dates for $71 it is likely the Hilton based on the amenities matched against Hotwire's package listings Link to comment

arbitrageur
Well.... SideStep now has the Hilton Double Tree Resort Lodge and Spa listing at $77 US and the Renaissance Fallsview listed at $74 US.I followed the strategy listed above with a max bid of $63 instead of $65. I was still rejected. I'm thinking of trying again in about 10 days. I figure that should put me within a 6 week timeframe. Link to comment
arbitrageur
OK, the dates of my Niagara stay have changed and so have the prices of the rooms. I now need 2 nights -- 3/18 to 3/20. I just tried the following series of unsuccessful bids:Niagara - $60Niag + St. Cath - $65New BidNiag + Welland - $72Niag + Welland + St. Cath - $78I just looked on hotwire, and they still have a 4* hotel going for $77 now. Do you think if I hold out is it possible to beat the hotwire price? Anyone know if that is still the Hilton? Link to comment

thereuare
As per the HOTWIRE HOTEL LIST this is a match for the Sheraton on the Falls so that would be our best guess. arbitrageur
Well, I tried bidding via priceline using the strategy above and was unsucessful.
