knhellman Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 Hello! I'm traveling to Las Vegas with my boyfriend for 1 night checking in 3/26 and checking out 3/27. I'm looking to spend no more than $130 per night (before taxes, fees, etc...). I want a hotel with a casino, access to a pool, and on the strip. I was having difficulty understanding which hotels are considered center strip or north strip. Location wise, we want to be able to walk everything so prefer not to be as far down as the MGM. Our friends have already booked at the Linq so ideally we want to be closer to them but our number one interest is a nice, clean, walkable and fun hotel. My previous Vegas experiences included staying at the Cosmo, MGM, Bally's, and Palazzo. I probably would not choose to stay at Bally's again. Since we wanted to get the best value / rate possible we decided to try this service. Hotwire pulled up a couple deals I'm interested on hearing advice. I want to make sure I try to avoid getting matched off the strip and in a hotel similar to a vacation club, timeshare, condo, or Trump. Here are the options: North Strip - 4 stars - $82 USD a night FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Resort, Casino, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby North Strip - 4 stars - $126 USD a night FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Resort, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower If you think these north star ones are good hotels in a good location, I guess I'd pick the cheaper one. Center Strip - 4 1/2 stars - $127 USD a night FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Resort, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Center Strip - 4 starts - $118 USD a night FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Resort, Pet Friendly, Boutique Hotel, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Thanks in advance!
