amandabrooke Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Hi. I am new here so I apologize in advance for stupid questions. I have been looking through these boards and they are a great source of information. I am trying to book a room for the weekend of April 8 - April 10 and I would love to get the Swan or the Dolphin. There are several 4* hotels in the lower price range. This is for 2 adults, no children 1. $116 (has $260 crossed out and says "weekend deal") - Listed as "Bonnet Creek Area Resort" Amenities listed: Free Internet, Business Center,Children's Activities, Resort, Golf nearby, Restaurant(s), Spa Services, Pet Friendly * The price seems too cheap to be the Swan or Dolphin plus it has "Pet Friendly" and I don't think they would be "Pet Friendly" but maybe this doesn't matter 2. $132 - Listed as "Bonnet Creek area Hotel". Amenities listed: Free Internet, Business Center,Children's Activities, Resort, Golf nearby I appreciate any help with this. Thank you!
thereuare Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to each of these listings, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for each: 4* Bonnet Creek at $116/nite Free Internet Resort Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Spa Childrens Activities ... if this is what you're seeing the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort would be my best guess for this one 4* Bonnet Creek at $132/nite Free Internet Resort Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Tennis Spa Childrens Activities Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... Hilton Bonnet Creek would be my best guess for this one (which i have stayed at and a very nice property) Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. amandabrooke Posted March 10, 2016 Author Report Posted March 10, 2016 i went through the link and found the additional amenities. I hope you are right about the Hilton. I will try and post my results. I'm just wondering if I might do better by bidding on Priceline. I am going to check your hotel lists and I will post my results. I will definitely use your link either way. Thank you!
AaronJB Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 You can bid and possibly win something for slightly-to-moderately less, but it could absolutely be a different hotel. Thank you for keeping us updated on what you decide and let us know if you have additional questions. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
