jbataligin Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 So I've looked into Priceline for buying airline tickets to go from Toronto to Vancouver for 3 people April 29-May 8. I'm getting ridiculous bids of $250 USD. It all seems too good to be true. Considering it's around $600CAD to buy from Airline. Is this too good to be true? Should I be weary?
thereuare Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Welcome to BetterBidding! Assuming you have not yet entered any of your credit card details, nor clicked a link that reads something along the lines of 'Buy My Tix Now', then you are currently only on the page where PRICELINE is asking you to confirm the details that you entered, and at this point PRICELINE has not yet even checked available airfare inventory for your dates. Given current prices for this route, how much savings would you need to make an 'opaque' tix (where you won't know the airline, layover city, length of layover, etc) worthwhile? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
