Marshall5 Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Hello I searched for the dates August 18th-21st for a 5* hotel in the Strip South Area. The hotel I found gives 8/10 guest favorite. Amenities include pets allowed, business center, free internet, indoor or outdoor pool and fitness center. The rate I received was $136 for a studio suite and then higher for studio, studio with a fountain view and then suite. I would guess this is the Cosmopolitan which I would love to get. My only hesitation is I can't confirm two beds, as you could on hotwire. I can gather what the room types are except the suite. The only suites I know at their hotel would be more expensive I would assume, but there isn't enough description for me to match it. If you could provide any insight, I would appreciate it.

Assuming this is the 5 Star Strip South hotel you're seeing, i don't belive this one is the Cosmo... best guess here is that this would be the Vdara. Would the Vdara be acceptable for this trip? If not, are you only looking for the Cosmo or are you open to other 5 star strip properties? What is your maximum budget (per nite before fees/taxes) for this trip? Marshall5 Posted March 10, 2016 Author Report Posted March 10, 2016 Yes that is the one! I wouldn't mind Vdara but Cosmo is my favorite hotel. I've been many times and usually have comps, but not this time. The 8/10 rating and fountain view made me think Cosmo. My maximum I'd pay is $200 but less is always acceptable if it's a nice property! If I could get a suite or nicer room I would go up to my maximum, but right now the city room is at my maximum booked direct. Thank you for your feedback, I will keep checking back since I have some time and see what changes.
